What to know about the new LG V30 in 2018
What to expect from the LG V 30 in 2018, according to the folks at Axios: A big change with the V30 is the dual camera system, and a new premium color, Gold.
The first look at the LG’s premium Gold finish and the LG G5 (and its silver finish) is here.
(It looks like we’re talking about the LG X Play, which is in stock right now and should ship on April 30.)
The new G5 is actually the same phone that we reviewed last year, with a more premium look.
The G5 has a metal frame, which LG says makes it more durable and resistant to scratches.
The new LG is slightly taller and narrower than the V 30, but its overall dimensions are still the same.
It also comes with the same 5.7-inch display as the V and the same 13MP rear camera.
LG is selling the LG VR 2 headset (which the V launched with) for $699, which includes a $20 credit toward the LG Display Pro 2K-class projector.
There’s a $150 price hike on the LG OLED Plus 5 display, which has the same specs and has a slightly smaller display.
The LG V is $1,500 cheaper than the LG F30, and the V is currently available for preorder.
LG says the V can take advantage of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chip, which promises up to three times the performance of the Snapdragon 810, and it will support 4K video recording and 4K HDR.
The V30 comes in a white and silver finish, and comes with a 32GB internal storage option.
The company has not announced pricing on the V’s accessories, but the LG has said it will sell the headset in a $30 bundle.
